Joshua and Kaari were married on a warm September day. The beautiful and very quaint Ryssby Church in Longmont, Colorado was the sight of the wedding ceremony. Forty five minutes northwest of Denver, the Ryssby Church was built by emigrants from Ryssby, Sweden in 1881. From music, to a home video from Norway to a cake shaped like a waterfall from Europe, Nordic tradition was apparent throughout their wedding. As you can see in their video, Joshua and Kaari easily had the most adorable flower girl that I’ve seen this wedding season. The wedding ceremony was filled with great music and singers; which always helps to make a great sounding video.
After the ceremony, the guests made there way South to the Boulder Country Club. The Boulder Country Club has a spectacular view, overlooking the golf course and the Flat Iron Mountains in the distance. Toasts began promptly after a mouthwatering dinner served by the Boulder Country Club’s catering staff. It became apparent that Joshua and Kaari were very grateful to have found each other and would share a lifetime of happiness. Some touching moments can be seen in the video from all of the special dances. The usual wedding songs and even some Nordic folk music brought the dance floor to life, thanks to the DJ Guy. It was a wonderful, classy night and Denver Wedding Films™ and Video was grateful to be apart of it.

Denver Wedding Films™ spent our Saturday at the Three Trees Chapel. It was their Fall Wedding Party Open House and couples from all over the Denver area flocked to see one of the most beautiful wedding chapels in the area. It was a terrific day, we met got to meet some of the best Denver wedding vendors and many, many great couples. Our table was setup and we showed off some of our latest work for brides who were eager to watch.
A big thanks goes out to Sherri of Three Trees Chapel for organizing the Wedding Open House and inviting some of the best wedding vendors in the city out to show off their services. If you haven’t been to the Three Trees Chapel it is located just off of Bowles Avenue and C-470 in Littleton, Colorado. Just minutes from Denver, it backs right up to the foothills: its apparent once you pull into the parking lot that there will be many breath taking views. Once inside, you aren’t disappointed, the glass window behind the alter provides a stunning view of the foothills. The entire chapel is brightly lit (as videographers this is something that we notice immediately and appreciate). This location is perfect for weddings and Denver Wedding Films™ looks forward to using its natural beauty to create incredible wedding videos.
Upon entering the Three Trees Chapel, couples were treated to the beautiful music played by harpist Jane Giagni. Her music set the tone in the chapel and highlight the brilliant sound properties of the Three Trees Chapel. Jane Giagni is available for weddings, receptions and more in and around the Denver area.
Down in the reception room, Biscuits and Berries catering company served up mouth-watering appetizers. Their creamy artichoke dip was to die for: I admit that I returned more than once to try some of it. Along with appetizers they provided water, iced tea and hot chocolate to couples visiting the Wedding Party Open House. For desert, Azucar Sweet Shop and Bakery provided several cakes for couples to try, their pumpkin cake was fabulous and an obvious hit: I think every person that I saw had one that they were savoring.
All of the wedding vendors tables, as well as the rest of the Three Trees Chapel, was beautifully decorated with flowers provided by Lisa Weddel of L. Weddel Design. Her flowers created a colorful atmosphere for couples to enjoy.
Other great Denver wedding vendors that were present included Jeanine of Nine Creations who creates professional custom invitations and graphic design, hair stylist Sonia Cadena who demonstrated her techniques on willing brides-to-be, Kathy Porter an independent sales representative of Avon who had an arsenal of hand and body products for brides including a cucumber hand sanitizer than left your hands moist, and Kelly of Little Things who’s creative party favors are able to help weddings stand out and give the guests something special to remember.
Last but not least, photographer Wiley Middleton of Middleton Photography was able to capture the day with his photographs as he divided between talking to couples and taking extraordinary pictures of the all the wedding vendors and the Three Trees Chapel.
Denver Wedding Films™ also divided their day: we are putting together a short video to highlight the Fall Wedding Party Open House, the Three Trees Chapel and the best Denver wedding vendors. The video will be finished in a few weeks. The pictures on the right are quick clips I pulled from the video taken yesterday.
All in all it was an incredible day, many couples were able to come check out the Three Trees Chapel and meet some of the best wedding vendors that Denver has to offer. Despite the snow, the turnout was great. I personally enjoyed chatting with other of Denver’s best vendors and look forward to putting together a video for them as well as working with them on weddings in the future.
