Fairy Tale Wedding Film
Michael and Andrea’s wedding was an incredible, fairy tale, destination wedding and produced some amazing video. I was lucky enough to make it out of town during our spring blizzard, but not before spending one night in the airport with my bags and video cameras. Once we took off from Denver and landed in California, it was all sunshine.
The ceremony was held under a gazebo next to the Disneyland Hotel. Chairs for the 40 or so guests were setup on the grass and the entire wedding venue was surrounded by heges for privacy. The late day wedding had the sun lower in the sky; the entire wedding party was able to be in the shade (making for great video).
After the ceremony and pictures, the guests were ushered to another part of the courtyard for the Disneyland Hotel and where tables and chairs were setup for a cockatail hour. The reception was located just a few seconds away, up some steps, just inside the hotel on the second floor. A large, round ballroom with plenty of windows set the mood for this incredible destination wedding reception. I’m very excited to put together their final wedding film and share the highlight video with everyone.
If you’re looking for an exciting place to have your destination wedding and would like a fairy tale theme, then there is no better place than the Disneyland Hotel.
8 Days, 3 different Destinations
Besides traveling to Southern California for the destination wedding, I also was in St. Louis and Holland this past week. St. Louis is home to the largest haunted house convention in the world and I was asked to record some video of the convention for the upcoming Travel Channel special: America Haunts. The videography that we recorded for them should air sometime in October.
After leaving St. Louis, I returned to Denver for 1 night before heading to Holland. I was out there for a short vacation and was able to do some sight seeing. Architecture is amazing out there and I was able to see some amazing churches while in The Netherlands. Unfortunately I didn’t have a video camera with me, but I will post some pictures from Holland in a few days.
Its been a fun, but tiring 8 days and I’ll be glad to return to my normal life and get back to editing video.
