A Beautiful Ceremony at the Willow Ridge Manor

Bride walking down the aisle

Denver Wedding Films' bride Adrienne walking down the aisle

On a cold, snowy October evening at the Willow Ridge Manor in Morrison, Colorado, Paul and Adrienne became husband and wife. Although the ceremony had been scheduled to be outside, the wedding ended up being just perfect inside. With snow falling in the background, Father Marty of Rent A Priest guided them through their ceremony while staying off to the side of the wedding party, allowing this to be a truly intimate wedding.

With the snow, the red and white colors and the hot chocolate, Paul and Adrienne’s wedding almost looks like a Christmas wedding. Adrienne’s dress was perfect, thanks to her seamstress Christine of CH Studios Custom Clothier, and Girls and Curls (who have one of the most creative wedding vendor names that I have seen, by the way) did an impeccable job with her hair and makeup.

A Great Reception with Mashed Potatoes, Peas and Gravy

The delicious wedding cake!

After their ceremony was completed, the guests moved into the parlor for drinks and mingling so that the staff of Lifestyles Catering could setup the dining area. It was a last minute idea, but I set up a camera to capture video of everyone setting up the dining area and turned it into a time lapse video that only lasts a few seconds. It is one of my favorite shots in their video and Adrienne said that she really loved that particular part as well.

After the dinner had been eaten and toasts had been made, Paul and Adrienne made their way to their gorgeous wedding cake that was expertly created by Das Meyer Pastry. As a special gift to the other couples at the wedding, an anniversary dance was held to celebrate the long lasting marriages of some of Paul and Adrienne’s family and friends. In a special moment Gregory, the owner of Willow Ridge Manor presented the couple with a special wedding cake of mashed potatoes and butter, peas and a side of gravy that represented a special story that Paul and Adrienne shared.

Fred, of Maestro Mobile Music Productions, did an amazing job with the sound and music. With his help, the dance floor was hoppin’ the entire night! Everyone seemed to have a tremendous time, especially the bride and groom who seemed just smitten with each other all night long. Traci and Nic Turchin of Real Photography did an outstanding job of capturing the day with still pictures. Willow Ridge Manor was beautifully decorated thanks to the florists, Hillside Consultants, Inc., who also created an enormous but beautiful bouquet for Adrienne and other wonderful floral arrangements for the bridal party.

A Surprise on Paul and Adrienne’s Wedding Video

As a little something extra, Adrienne came to me wanting to surprise Paul by singing a song and including it on the wedding video. She has an amazing voice and we were able to record it well enough so that I could then mix it with a song. It came out better than I could have imagined. She was thrilled with it and Paul was very surprised when it came up while we were watching their wedding video for the first time. Paul had initially not wanted a wedding videographer, but was convinced otherwise by his brother. After he watched the video for the first time he said that he was reallyglad that they got a video after all.

I was truly grateful to be a part of such a happy couples amazing wedding and create a video that would save their memories for ever.  Here’s what Paul and Adrienne had to say about their wedding video from Denver Wedding Films™:

“Thank you thank you thank you for capturing our wedding on film and for being so (dang) talented. The DVD is INCREDIBLE.

I keep watching it and I bawl every time! Tye – you’re amazing!

-Adrienne
